Chinese New Year to Cure Hangover

The Wang Trio (mom, Jessica and sister Stephanie– what a hottie powerhouse!) hosted a wonderful Chinese New Year dinner last night, complete with homemade dumplings (that we all help wrap!), “stuffed” cabbage, steamed fish (my favorite), and ginger soy chicken. There was also this bomb ass cellophane noodle dish called cao mi fen, which is rice noodles, shiitake mushrooms, pickled cabbage, and chicken (also can be pork).

The night ended with fried mochi-like rice cakes and whiskey. And port. Needless to say, I am hungover today. But the leftovers that I shamelessly took home with me last night is getting me through the day (Brinda shamelessly took hers home in a ziploc bag- love it!).

Lunchbox of cao mi fen and dumplings– it’s gonna be a good year.
